Beau Corrales (2017)
University of North Carolina / New England Patriots
At Georgetown High School, Beau Corrales emerged as one of the most productive receivers to come through the Eagles football program. Known for his size, athleticism, and ability to make contested catches, Corrales became a major weapon in Georgetown’s offense and drew attention from programs across the country during his high school career.
Corrales continued his career at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he played wide receiver. His most productive college game came during the 2020 season against Florida State. In that game, he recorded 4 receptions, 141 receiving yards and a touchdown, the highest single-game yardage total of his college career. During his time at North Carolina, he contributed in multiple seasons against top-level competition and became known for his ability to stretch the field and make plays down the sideline.
After college, Corrales earned opportunities at the professional level, spending time with NFL organizations including the Houston Texans and New England Patriots



2012 State Finalist Georgetown Eagles
The 2012 Georgetown Eagles were one of the most memorable teams in program history, putting together a season that helped establish Georgetown as a serious contender in Texas high school football. Built around a physical style of play and a group of experienced seniors, the Eagles combined explosive offense with a hard-nosed defense that consistently delivered in big moments throughout the year.
That season, Georgetown battled through a tough schedule and made a deep playoff run, earning respect across Central Texas for the way they competed every Friday night. The 2012 team featured several standout players who would continue their careers at the college level, and the chemistry of that group became one of the defining parts of the season.
The 2012 Eagles finished the season 15-1 and are remembered for helping elevate the standard of Georgetown football for years to come.



Mason Crosby (2003)
University of Colorado / Green Bay Packers
At Georgetown High School, Mason Crosby developed into one of the top kicking prospects in Texas, earning national attention for his leg strength and consistency. His performances at Georgetown helped launch him to the University of Colorado, where he became one of the best kickers in program history.
At University of Colorado Boulder, Crosby was a four-year starter and a first-team All-Big 12 selection. He set school records, became known for his range on kickoffs and field goals, and finished his college career as one of the most accomplished specialists in Colorado football history.
That success carried into the NFL with the Green Bay Packers, where Crosby spent 16 seasons and became the franchise’s all-time leading scorer. During his time in Green Bay, he helped the Packers win Super Bowl XLV and built a reputation as one of the league’s most reliable kickers across nearly two decades in the NFL. Crosby was officially enshrined in the University of Colorado Athletic Hall of Fame and the Wisconsin Athletic Hall of Fame in 2025.



Matt Dominguez (1996)
Sam Houston State University / Denver Broncos
Before becoming a professional standout and college record-holder, Georgetown High School product Matt Dominguez was making plays under the Friday night lights for the Eagles. His size, physicality, and ability to make big catches quickly made him one of the most dangerous weapons on the field. By the time his high school career ended, colleges across Texas had taken notice of the Georgetown star who seemed to thrive in pressure moments. Dominguez was a 1st Team All District and 1st Team All-State selection his senior year.
That same competitive fire eventually carried him to Sam Houston State University, where he became the school’s first NCAA Division I-AA All-American. After a record-setting college career at Sam Houston State, Dominguez went on to play professionally in both the NFL and CFL. His greatest professional success came in Canada with the Saskatchewan Roughriders, where he became a CFL West All-Star in 2007 and helped lead the franchise to a historic Grey Cup Championship that same season. Dominguez was selected to the Sam Houston Hall of Honor in 2006 and the Saskatchewan Roughriders Hall of Honor in 2016.
